Design Heritage

I grew up around English antiques, American quilts, art, and textiles. My great-grandmother founded the Shelburne Museum—a place built on living with beautiful, useful things, not putting them behind glass. That idea stuck with me.

Later I worked for Mario Buatta—lots of pattern, lots of color—and then for Ralph Lauren and his love of classic interiors. I learned from both, but I never wanted to recreate another era. I like mixing old and new. Clean, but warm. Edited, but never cold.

Our fabrics are for homes that want to feel lived in and welcoming—where modern furniture, fun art, and a bit of pattern all live together, and things don't match perfectly. That's the point. When it's done right, the house just feels good.
